Diviner
📍 111 Galena Street, Broken Hill NSW 2880
Diviner is a sculptural work at Riddiford Arboretum created from mining waste materials. Commissioned in 2020 and created by Melbourne-based artist Robbie Rowlands in collaboration with local students, industry professionals and community groups. Uses rock bolts to create a 6 m sculpture that appears as a natural element of the landscape, like a fallen branch or root structure. Curved rolled steel limbs end with welded bronze mimicking golden flower tips.
