Raranga (Flax Weaving)

Our staff will guide you step-by-step as you begin your raranga (weaving) journey. You will learn about harakeke and how to weave simple items while following tikanga. In these sessions, you will learn how to weave items like hearts, fish, fantail and putiputi (flowers), and at the end, you will be able to take your completed weaving home.
