📍 Red Cliffs, VIC
A massive traction engine, the largest ever built in Australia. Built between 1917-1919, it took over two years to travel from Melbourne to Red Cliffs. Used to clear vast expanses of land around the river at the Red Cliffs soldier settlement, capable of clearing up to 50 acres in a day. Provided 700 Soldier Settlement blocks for World War I veterans and founded the town.
