The Red Cliffs Psyche Pumps

Historic pumps built in 1891 by the Chaffey brothers. 'Billabong system' designed by George Chaffey to raise water from Murray River approximately 28 metres. Supplied approximately 20,000 hectares. Pumps operational on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Queens Birthday weekend, and middle Sundays of Victorian July and September school holidays.
